HGEO ‑ HORIZONTAL GEOMETRY
Purpose:
To compute the horizontal geometry for a horizontal alignment which has its P.I. points defined by either stations or coordinates. For multi alignment input, the offset from the primary alignment to the secondary alignment and the equivalent station on the secondary alignment can be computed.
Input:
For each alignment: either start station and coordinates, initial course bearing, each P.I. station, with its delta angle, degree of curve or radius, and optional spiral length; or start and end coordinates, each P.I. coordinates, degree of curve or radius, and optional spiral length.
Output:
A geometry listing for each alignment, including simple curve data, spiral curve data, and coordinates of horizontal control points. For multi alignments, a tabulation of primary alignment stations and their equivalent secondary alignment station and offset.
