CLLMR ‑ COMPARISON OF LIVE LOAD MOMENTS AND REACTIONS
Purpose:
To compute the maximum moment and reaction in a simple span girder or the maximum reaction on the floorbeam and the maximum moment in the floorbeam due to any truck loading and then compare these with the moment and reaction due to HS20 loading. A range of girder span lengths or floorbeam spacing may be specified. Any truck loading having up to a maximum of thirty (30) axles with any axle load and axle spacing may be described. Either SI or US customary units may be used.
Input:
A range of girder span lengths or floorbeam spacing, bridge cross-section, axle loads and axle spacing.
Output:
A girder reaction, girder moment, stringer reaction and floorbeam moment due to specified loading and the ratios of these effects to those due to HS20 loading. A table is printed for the given range of girder spans or floorbeam spacing.
